Espoo Day was once again celebrated across the city on the last weekend of August. The 2025 programme brought together more than 200 events organized by local associations, businesses, residents, various communities and the City of Espoo itself. There was something to see and experience in every corner of the city.
This year, Espoo Day was held as a two-day city festival on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 August. On Friday, celebrations took place in daycares and schools, as well as through various art and culture events in the evening.
The festivities culminated on Saturday with the traditional Espoo Day, as free events filled the city from morning until evening. Residents were able to celebrate their hometown together, and in total, Espoo Day attracted around 100,000 participants this year.
A warm thank you to everyone who took part in Espoo Day!
