Light Spectacle at Tapiola Central Pool
The fountain spectacle that merges light and water transforms Tapiola Central Pool into a enchanting realm. This artwork is part of the Dancing Waters concept, where light, water, and music come together to create a stunning display on a dusky August evening.
The artwork will be presented as part of the Espoo Day celebration on Friday, August 25th and Saturday, August 26th, three times during the evening. Each performance lasts approximately 10 minutes. You can get a preview of the Dancing Waters on YouTube. The music for displays 1 and 3 is composed by Artturi Taira.

Image: Tapiola Central Pool, designed by architect Aarne Ervi, was completed in 1962. The fountain in the central pool has been illuminated several times throughout the history of Tapiola garden city. In 2023, it will mark the 70th anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone in Tapiola.
